Hotel Chandler New York City

Our Story

New York City Hotel Chandler facade detail     Hotel Chandler is a member of Triumph Hotels, which also includes Iroquois New York, Washington Jefferson Hotel and Hotel Belleclaire. Triumph Hotels stands for personalized luxury and service at its best.

Built in 1907, the newly remodeled Hotel Chandler brings the understated elegance of hotels from another era to the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan.

The building’s limestone façade has been restored to its original splendor, boasting many spectacular architectural details of the Beaux Arts period. One can easily view the refurbished iron spiral staircase that leads up to an airy flight of 12 floors.

Triumph Hotels offers four modern and welcoming Manhattan hotels owned by Shimmie Horn. Each has been completely renovated and grouped under the Triumph Hotels brand, which provides visitors with the best of everything New York has to offer.

Shimmie Horn was born into a family of hoteliers, and he was taught to treat his staff members with the same amount of respect and warmth he wants them to offer to his guests. As a result, visitors staying at any of the Triumph Hotels properties will feel as though they have entered the home of a welcoming family.

Dynamic and cutting edge, and at the same time comforting and warm, the Triumph Hotels brand means personalized luxury and service available to all guests. For everyone from seasoned business travelers to tourists visiting New York City, Triumph Hotels is a 21st Century company designed to satisfy every traveler’s needs.
