Public Transit Directions to Hotel Chandler

From John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

• Ride the JFK AirTrain from the airport to the Jamaica Station/Sutphin Boulevard Station
• Transfer to the E Train toward World Trade Center
• Ride the E Train to the Lexington Avenue/53rd Street Station
• Transfer to the 6 Train toward Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall (no additional cost)
• Leave the subway at the 33rd Street Station
• Walk south on Park Avenue and turn right on 31st Street
• Hotel Chandler will be on the left (south) side of 31st Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue

From LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

• Take the M60 bus from the airport toward West Side/Broadway/106th Street
• Get off the bus at Hoyt Avenue and 31st Street
• Walk up the stairs to the above-ground platform at the Astoria Boulevard Subway Station
• Take the Q Train toward Coney Island/Stilwell Avenue
• Get off the subway at the Lexington Avenue/59th Street Station
• Transfer to the 6 Train toward Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall (no additional cost)
• Leave the subway at the 33rd Street Station
• Walk south on Park Avenue and turn right on 31st Street

From New Jersey (via the Lincoln Tunnel)

• Head  east on NJ-495 East
• Continue through the Lincoln Tunnel
• Take the exit toward Dyer Avenue
• Keep right, following signs for I-495 E/36th Street/Downtown/Madison Square Garden
• Turn left onto 34th Street
• Turn right onto Fifth Avenue
• Turn left onto 30th Street
• Take the first left onto Madison Avenue
• Take the first left onto 31st Street
• Hotel Chandler will be on the left (south) side of 31st Street

From Connecticut (via I-95)

• Head southwest on I-95
• Continue onto I-278 West
• Take the exit toward Randalls Island/Manhattan/FDR Drive
• Merge onto the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge
• Keep left at the fork and merge onto FDR Drive
• Take exit 8 toward i-495/Midtown Tunnel/34th Street
• Turn right onto 34th Street
• Turn left onto Lexington Avenue
• Turn right at the third cross-street onto 31st Street
• Hotel Chandler will be on the left (south) side of 31st Street

From Long Island (via I-495/Queens-Midtown Tunnel)

• Head southwest on I-495 toward exit 29
• Exit on the left onto Tunnel Exit Street
• Turn right onto 34th Street
• Turn left at the second cross street onto Lexington Avenue
• Turn right at the third cross street onto 31st Street
• Hotel Chandler will be on the left (south) side of 31st Street
